Full-Time Members:

We work directly with IOS (Industrial/Organizational Solutions) which is a human resources consulting firm and test publisher specializing in personnel selection for public safety agencies. Tests are performed periodically which we post on our website and Facebook page with detailed information to complete the test. At the end of testing a list will be made available to the hiring officers at LVFPD in which candidates will be contacted based on testing results. The next test will be scheduled for March 8, 2025. Part-Time Members:

We hire a limited number of part-time members at the LVFPD. The applying individual must be certified as a firefighter and paramedic to be considered. Applications are available on our website, click HERE.

 

I just received an ambulance bill. I am a resident of Lake Villa/Lindenhurst, do I have to pay?

If you are a resident of Lake Villa or Lindenhurst you must first submit the bill to your health insurance company if you have not already done so. If there is a balance, you may submit your bill and E.O.B. from your insurance company to be reviewed. You will be contacted within 48-72 hours confirming approval or denial of request.
